Accelerating Writing Years 7-10

A high-impact professional learning workshop equipping NZ teachers with research-proven approaches to rapidly accelerate student writing progress. Based on the science of learning, this condensed session delivers the most essential strategies for immediate classroom implementation. Participants will gain practical tools to scaffold different writing types across the curriculum, creating pathways for accelerated growth in academic writing. Structured Literacy for Secondary
This half day course series provides insights from the Science of Learning about how the brain learns best with particular emphasis on the developmental needs of adolescents. The course is designed specifically for high school teachers.
It provides an introduction to strategies based on principles of effective instruction and challenges you to begin to implement meaningful changes to support effective literacy instruction.
